Nature in the Burbs

Well we knew moving out to the burbs we would see a little bit of nature, rabbits, chipmunks, hawks and deer. But my kids and I were blown away at what we saw and captured on camera.

This 5 inch long praying mantis that had leaped on a grasshopper, tore it's hind leg off and held it in a death grip while it began to devour it.

CD Cover Art

Well the artwork for our upcoming CD has now been handed off to graphic designer Anthony Vitagliano, who by the way is not only a very good friend but also lent his talents playing drums on a couple of tracks "Mother's Sunshine" and "Until I'm Over You". We thank Anthony for making time in his busy schedule to once again help us with completing this project. Anthony was recently nominated for an Emmy Award for the opening sequences of the TV show the GHOST WHISPERER. Congrats!

Steve Irwin 1962-2006

This morning our famly was saddened to learn of the death of the most passionate conservationist this planet has ever known and come to love. We are big fans of the Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, from the first time Jose and I ever saw him during one of our first trips to Wisconsin. After the gigs at Fratello's in Oshkosh our routine would be get a coffee and muffin at Kwik Trip and hurry back to catch this crazy Australian guy who got in the face of some pretty dangerous animals. We were blown away by this guy. He was one of a kind.

Our hearts go out to the Irwin family....You will be missed.
