August Performances

Another busy month has gone by and I'd like to thank everyone who has come out to support us. Special thanks to family, friends and fans that came out to support The K. Michaels Band in our first appearance at the Beacon Tap in Des Plaines. We had great time and we were thrilled to have such a great turn out. Thank You All!

The K. Michaels Band will be performing in Chicago on Tuesday, August 5 for the CAPS National Night Out, sponsored by the 16th District Police and Chicago Park District. This is a great event for the family. Show time begins at 5:30pm. The event is located at Norwood Park 5801 N. Natoma.

The St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Hawthorn Woods will be holding it's 18th Annual Pig Roast on Sunday, August 17th. The K. Michaels Band will be performing at this event starting at 1:30pm. The St Matt's Praise Team will also be performing at 11:30am. This event is open to the public so please come out and enjoy the festivities. For more info please visit www.kmichaelsband.com

July Performances

Let me start out by wishing you all a safe and happy Independence Day. I hope you are enjoying the summer so far, as much as we are. We've been busy with family and summer parties that seem to never end......what a dilemma. We will be playing for the first time at this years BenFest July 11th at St. Benedict Parish in Chicago. It should be a good time as it is one of many well known festivals that attracts great local talent. We will be starting up at 5:30pm and play till 6:45pm. There is an admission fee of $5.00 and the doors open at 5:00pm. We will also be returning to Chapin's Restaurant in Morris, IL on July 18th. A wonderful place to play because of it's intimate setting. July 19th we will be at the Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI. We hope you can make it to one of the shows. On another note, The K. Michaels Band, the other project I have been involved with will be playing Friday, July 25th at the Beacon Tap in DesPlaines, IL. This is sort of our first headlining gig. It would be great to see some of our Breakin' Strings fans out there. It's sounds like it going to be a packed house so get there early.
